With 2025 just around the corner, I’ve been thinking about what I want to focus on in my photography journey for the new year.

One big goal is to continue building my skills as a family and couples photographer while working on developing a unique style that truly feels like me. Sometimes I catch myself being a little too rigid with posing like thinking that one pose works for everyone. So I just want to focus on my connection with the subjects whether it’s families or couples and truly capturing their unique moments. I figured it’s always best to ask them what feels natural or ask to just be themselves.

I also really love the urban vibe and want to take more photos in New York City or any urban setting. I always feel very inspired there and I think it could really push my creativity.

My last goal is to get out of my comfort zone and take more pictures of strangers. I did this years ago, and it was such an incredible and inspiring experience.

Overall, I just want to keep growing and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.

I have a feeling 2025 will be a year full of new experiences.
